What ever the business, there are a couple of rules that you should follow. Frank Lucas was an organized crime boss that made it big during the late 1960s and early 1970s. He has a special place in history because he became really wealthy and controlled everything in Harlem.
The movie gives us a glimpse of Frank’s life. He was disciplined and organized. He was well dressed and was different from the other gangsters of his time. Frank had a quite style; he was making his money and not showing off with it. He built an empire based on selling drugs. He cut the middle man and went to Thailand to get a connection and buy heroin directly from the source. His product was much better than anything else that was sold on the streets of New York. Frank used his contacts in US Army, and transported his heroin in the coffins of the dead soldiers that were sent from the Vietnam War. He involved his own family in the business and went on becoming one of the biggest gangsters in the history. During those times everybody could be bought except Richie Roberts that was keen on his objective of bringing down Frank Lucas.
