I have seen it a lot of times. This is one of my favorites, if not, quite my number one movie. It is a combination of action and a sarcastic humor typical to writer and director, Guy Ritchie.
There is a diamond the size of a fist that Franky Four Fingers has in his possession. He is called Four Fingers because he makes dangerous bets with dangerous people and when he can’t pay they give him the chop. So the stone must get to the US to Avi and it is not safe in Frankys hands.
Turkish is a boxing promoter and he has arranged an illegal fight in a couple of days in which a dangerous mob boss called Brick Top is involved. But Tommy his partner gets their fighter into a bear knuckle fight against a gipsy Mickey, who proves to be a boxing champion. Now they are in trouble and they have to get fast a replacement fighter. So they try and convince the gipsy, just that he doesn’t know how to listen and Turkish and Tommy get in even bigger trouble.
Meanwhile there are another couple of people that want the diamond, the Russians. Boris the Blade, a dangerous arms dealer hires two small hustlers Sol and Vincent to robb Francky of his diamond. The lads get a real bad getaway driver and they do all the dumb things they can do, even brake into one of Brick Tops bookie agencies. The boys are in big trouble but they don’t know it yet…
